Windsor Cottage

This renovation of a character home has been thoughtfully designed to enhance liveability while respecting the existing structure. The brief focused on creating additional, well-defined spaces including living areas, a dedicated laundry, improved storage, and a new bedroom suite. All whilst also improving the home’s resilience being located on a flood-prone site.

Rather than increasing site coverage on the first floor, the design took a more considered approach by introducing a third level. Carefully integrated and partially concealed within the existing roofline, it allows for meaningful expansion without compromising the home's character.
